I want to say one thing......How can any manager make a decision on who he is going to pick for his side if the managers don't get a chance to see them in action?? The key to solving this problem is by getting players to come training to prove themselves to the clubs managers. Other than a few commited 2nd / 3rd team players, training is only attended by current 1st team players.

A special good luck from myself and Buck to the reserve team, after a promising pre season, with some excellent individual and team performances and 5 convincing friendly wins, lets hope thats a sign of more to come for the whole season.

The reserve team season kicks off on Tues 1st Sept with and away game at Broad Plain - 6:30ko - all support welcome and wanted.

Good luck lads, and heres to a good, enjoyable season.

I have no doubt Chris Towill is doing a good job as chairman but I think running the 1st team as well is a bit too much and it seems only his 'favourite' players have a chance of breaking into the side. Surely a club of FOBFC's stature should be able to attract a manager with a bit more experience and a few contacts. I am also of the oppinion that the club should drop the 4th team or make it a veterans team so the club can focus on quality rather than quantity with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams.
